The Warriors are wrongly accused of murdering Cyrus, the charismatic leader of the New York underworld. There begins a frenzied odyssey from the Bronx to Coney Island, every street gang and cop in the city on their tail. Alongside characters with cool names like Swan, Ajax, Rembrandt and Cochise, Walter Hill guides us through a raucous night at breakneck speed, reinventing the action film by transposing the tropes of the western to a rowdy urban jungle.
